The Educational Foundation
The Cathedral School Educational Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity. It is the implementation arm of the Cathedral School Alumni Association.
The Foundation established in 1996 to assist CCS by providing educational and scholarship assistance for needy and deserving students. Since its inception, the CSEF has rebuilt the school library, provided audiovisual and basic office equipment, established a computer lab, rebuilt the science lab, and furnished the school with textbooks. The Foundation members all work on a voluntary basis, soliciting supplies and donations, packing and shipping educational materials.
It is responsible for working with Cathedral Catholic School and the Catholic Educational Secretariat in identifying the needs of the school and ensuring an effective means of delivering support. It operates on a budget approved annually by the National Association at the convention plenary session.
